Background

In an attempt to tap into the social touch-point of its consumers, Premier Cool organised a 5-aside football competition tagged “Premier Cool Turf Wars” aimed at engaging and rewarding working professionals who, in spite of their busy schedules, still create time to enjoy the game of football, while also celebrating Nigeria’s passion for the beautiful game of football.

Outcome

  • Record number of user generated content leading to increased media visibility and earned media of over 65%
  • The campaign enjoyed adequate media coverage from sports desks and influencers, leading to recognition from Football associations and regulatory bodies.
